1. Who we are
This website is operated by YardEdge Pro ("YardEdge Pro", "we", "us", "our"). Throughout the site, those words refer to the business. Our registered address is 2737 Kipling Ave, Etobicoke, Ontario M9V 4C3, Canada. You can reach us by email at info@yardedgepro.com or by telephone on +1 647 766 5776.
YardEdge Pro sells cordless yard and household tools online at yardedgepro.com. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.
2. Agreeing to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of yardedgepro.com and any purchase you make from us. By visiting our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Please read them before you buy. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site or place an order.
You must be at least the age of majority in the state, province or territory where you live to purchase from us, and you may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
3. Our products
We describe every product as accurately as we can, including what it is not suitable for. Product photographs are provided by our suppliers and are intended to show the item fairly, but colours can appear differently on different screens, and packaging may vary.
Specifications such as torque, runtime, cutting width, throw distance and battery life are manufacturer figures measured under ideal conditions. Real-world performance will usually be lower, and we say so on the product pages where it matters.
We may change or discontinue a product at any time. We may also limit the quantity of any item we sell, or refuse an order, at our discretion.
4. Prices and currency
All prices on this site are shown in United States dollars (USD) and are charged in USD, including for customers in Canada. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank will convert the amount and may add its own fee, which is outside our control.
Prices can change without notice. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a typing or system error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply at that price. We will contact you if this happens.
Compare-at prices shown with a line through them represent the manufacturer's suggested or typical market price for a comparable item, not a price at which we have necessarily sold the product ourselves.
5. Orders and when a contract is formed
When you place an order you will receive an order confirmation email. That email confirms we have received your order; it is not acceptance of it. A contract between us is formed only when we dispatch the goods and send you a shipping confirmation.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, including orders that appear fraudulent, orders placed by resellers or distributors, orders where the delivery address cannot be verified, and orders we are unable to fulfil. If we cancel an order after payment, we refund you in full.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information, and to keep your email address and delivery address up to date so that we can contact you and deliver to you.
6. Dispatch, shipping and delivery
Shipping is free on every order to the United States and Canada, with no minimum spend. Every order is tracked, and the tracking number is emailed to you once the parcel leaves.
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday. Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday, or on a public holiday, are dispatched on the next working day.
Delivery normally takes 7 to 10 days from dispatch. That is an estimate and not a guarantee. Customs clearance, carrier delays, severe weather and peak periods can all extend it, and none of these are within our control.
Risk of loss and title pass to you when the carrier takes possession of the goods. If a parcel is lost or arrives damaged, contact us and we will work with the carrier to resolve it — in practice that means we replace it or refund you.

7. Returns and refunds
You have 30 days from delivery to return an item for a full refund. There is no restocking fee. The item must be in a condition that allows it to be resold or returned to our supplier — used lightly and put back in its box is fine; damaged, incomplete or heavily worn is not.
To start a return, email info@yardedgepro.com with your order number. We will tell you where to send it. Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the item is received and checked.

8. Warranty
Every powered tool we sell is covered for 12 months from the date of delivery against defects in materials or workmanship, including the batteries supplied with it.
The warranty covers a tool that fails in normal domestic use. It does not cover consumable parts such as trimmer line, blades and filters, nor damage caused by misuse, modification, accident, commercial or industrial use, or by using the tool for a job the product page states it is not suitable for.
To make a warranty claim, email us with your order number and a description or photograph of the fault. Where a claim is valid we will repair, replace or refund at our discretion.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
9. Safe and intended use
Several products we sell are powered cutting, pressure or combustion tools. They can cause serious injury if used carelessly. You are responsible for reading the manufacturer's instructions supplied with the product and following them.
In particular: fuel-burning appliances such as portable gas heaters and camp stoves must only be used in well-ventilated spaces and never in a sealed room or while sleeping, because of the risk of carbon monoxide. Cutting tools must be used with appropriate eye and hand protection. Tools must be kept away from children.
We are not liable for injury, loss or damage resulting from use of a product contrary to the manufacturer's instructions, contrary to the limitations we state on the product page, or by a person not competent to use it.
10. Your account
You may create an account on our site. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
We may refuse service, terminate accounts, remove content or cancel orders at our discretion.
11. Reviews, comments and other content you send us
If you send us product reviews, comments, photographs, suggestions or other material, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, publish and reproduce that material in connection with our business, including on the product page and in marketing.
You agree that anything you submit is your own, is honest, and does not infringe anyone else's rights or contain anything unlawful, defamatory, obscene or abusive. We may edit for length or remove content, but we will not alter the substance of a review, and we do not publish reviews we have paid for or written ourselves.
We do not have to keep, respond to, or pay for any content you send us.
12. Acceptable use
You may not use our site or our products for any unlawful purpose; to solicit others to take part in unlawful acts; to breach any regulation, rule or law; to infringe our intellectual property or anyone else's; to harass, abuse, defame or discriminate; to submit false information; to upload viruses or malicious code; to collect or track other people's personal information; to spam, phish, scrape or crawl; or to interfere with the security of the site.
We may terminate your use of the site for breaching any of this.
13. Our content and trademarks
The text, layout, design, graphics, photographs we produce, and the YardEdge Pro name and logo are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce or republish them for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Product images and specifications supplied by manufacturers remain the property of their respective owners.
14. Third-party links and services
Our site may link to third-party websites, and we use third-party services including Shopify for our store and checkout, payment processors to take payment, and carriers to deliver your order. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, products or practices of third parties.
Complaints or questions about a third-party product or service should be directed to that third party.
15. Accuracy of information on this site
We work hard to keep the site accurate, but we are not responsible if information made available here is not accurate, complete or current. Material on this site is provided for general information and should not be relied on as the sole basis for a decision without consulting better or more timely sources.
We may update content at any time, and we are under no obligation to do so.
16. Disclaimer of warranties
Except as expressly stated in these Terms and in our 12-month warranty, our service and products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
17. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YardEdge Pro, its owner, employees and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss arising from your use of or inability to use the site or a product.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.
Nothing in this section excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YardEdge Pro and its owner from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by a third party because you have breached these Terms or the documents they incorporate, or because you have violated any law or the rights of a third party.
19. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
20. Severability and waiver
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that part is severed and the remainder stays in force. If we do not enforce a right under these Terms, that is not a waiver of that right.
21. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. The version published here is the one that applies. Changes take effect when posted, and it is your responsibility to check this page periodically. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

22. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not remove the protection of any mandatory consumer law of your own country.
