Diabetes, nerve damage and reduced sensation in the feet are common, and they are the one thing that makes a heated wrap genuinely risky rather than merely warm. If you cannot reliably feel how hot something is, you will not notice it getting too hot until the skin is already damaged.

Questions people ask
How long does a charge last?
Comfortably through an evening session at a middle setting. The higher the heat, the harder the battery works — level five will run down noticeably faster than level two, which is another reason not to live at the top of the range.
Can I wear it while I am moving around?
You can — there is no cord, so nothing stops you walking to the kitchen in it. But it is designed for sitting still, and that is when the warmth actually does something for you.
Will it help plantar fasciitis or an old ankle injury?
We are not going to tell you it treats either, because it does not and we would be making it up. What it does is make your feet warm and gently vibrated while you rest, which a lot of people find is the part of the evening they were missing. If you have a diagnosed condition, ask your physio whether heat is right for it — for some things it is, for others cold is.
Can I use it on my wrist or elbow?
Plenty of people do, and the strap is long enough. It was shaped around an ankle and a heel, so that is where it sits best.
Can I wash it?
Wipe the neoprene with a damp cloth and let it dry. Do not put it in a machine and do not soak it — there is a battery and a heating element inside.
