There is a drawer in your house with one tired drill in it, a charger for a battery that stopped holding two years ago, and four bits — none of them the one you need.

So the shelf stays in its box. The gate keeps dropping and catching on the path. The flat-pack in the hallway is on its third weekend, and every time you walk past it you feel it. None of those jobs are hard. They just all begin with twenty minutes of hunting through a drawer for something that probably won't work anyway, and that is enough to make you put the kettle on instead.

The YardEdge Pro™ Cordless Drill & Impact Driver Combo Kit replaces the whole drawer in one box: a brushless 3/8" drill driver, a brushless 1/4" impact driver, two 4.0Ah batteries, a fast charger, twenty driver bits and a bag to keep it all together. Charged, matched, and in one place — so the job starts in thirty seconds instead of never.

Two Brushless Tools Two 4.0Ah Batteries 1950 in-lbs Impact Torque 20 Bits & Carry Bag 12-month warranty

What comes in the box

The 3/8" drill driver

Brushless, two-speed, with 23+3 clutch settings so you can sink a screw flush into soft pine without punching through the other side. Variable-speed trigger and a built-in LED for the back of the cupboard.

The 1/4" impact driver

Up to 1950 in-lbs of torque. It hammers rotationally instead of twisting your wrist, which is how a four-inch deck screw goes into old hardwood without the head stripping out.

Two 4.0Ah batteries

Not the 1.5Ah packs that make a kit look cheap on a shelf. Two 21V 4.0Ah lithium packs and a fast charger — either battery runs either tool, so one is always working and one is always ready.

Twenty bits and a bag

A twenty-piece driver bit set, and a carry bag that keeps the whole kit together. The reason the drawer got into that state is that nothing in it had a home.

Two tools, because they are genuinely two different jobs

Most people own a drill and try to make it do everything. A drill makes holes and gives you fine control over how hard it pulls — that is what the clutch ring is for. An impact driver does one thing instead: it delivers short rotational blows, so the screw keeps turning while your arm stays still. Long fixings, hard timber, rusted screws, decking. Owning both is the single biggest jump in results any home toolkit ever makes, and it is why they are sold together here.

Straight talk about what this kit is not

This is a homeowner and serious-DIY kit. Shelves, decking, fencing, flat-pack, gates, yard projects and repairs around the house — it will do all of that comfortably. It is not a site kit for swinging tools eight hours a day, five days a week; if that is your work, buy a trade brand with a trade service network behind it.

It is also not the tool for automotive work. An impact driver takes a 1/4" hex bit and drives screws. If what you actually need is to break seized lug nuts off a wheel, that is an impact wrench with a square drive — look at the YardEdge Pro™ Cordless Impact Wrench instead, and do not buy this one hoping it will do both.

Questions people ask first

Do I really need both tools?

For hanging a picture, no. For anything with long screws or hard wood, yes — and once you have driven a box of decking screws with an impact driver you will not go back to doing it with a drill. That is precisely why they come together.

Do the batteries swap between the two tools?

Yes. Both tools run on the same 21V platform, so either 4.0Ah pack fits either tool. In practice you leave one in whichever tool you are holding and the other on the charger.

Is it too heavy for smaller hands?

Both tools are built around a compact brushless motor, which makes them shorter front to back than the older brushed tools most people still have in the drawer. They are meant to be used one-handed, above shoulder height, without your forearm giving up first.

The list on the fridge, finally.

Two brushless tools, two 4.0Ah batteries, a fast charger, twenty bits and a bag — in one box, from one drawer, ready to go. Free US shipping, a 12-month warranty and thirty days to change your mind.
