Why this one, and not just any impact gun
Three speeds, not one
0–1400, 1900 and 2400 RPM in forward. The low setting matters more than people expect: full power is what you want on a lug nut and exactly what you do not want on an alloy fitting or a fastener you would rather not round off.
Brake stop in reverse
The socket stops turning the moment the nut is free, instead of spinning it off into the gravel under the car. Small feature, and the one you notice on the fourth wheel.

Straight talk before you buy this one
Breakaway torque is for undoing, never for setting. A thousand newton-metres will strip a thread or snap a wheel stud without noticing. Crack fasteners loose with this, then tighten them with a proper torque wrench to the figure in your manual. This is the single most common way people damage a hub with a tool like this, and it is entirely avoidable.
Use impact-rated sockets only. The four black sockets supplied are impact sockets. Chrome hand sockets are hardened differently and can shatter under a hammering tool — that is a genuine eye injury risk, not a warranty note.
On the battery: the packs are marked 21V, which is the peak reading off a full charge. Nominal output is 18V. Both figures describe the same battery — we would rather explain that than let you think you are getting something you are not.

Questions people ask first
Will it shift my wheel nuts?
Yes, comfortably. Car wheel nuts are usually torqued to somewhere around 120 N·m and rust makes them harder to crack than that — but not eight times harder. This is well clear of anything a passenger car or light truck will present.
Can I use it to tighten as well?
To run a nut down, yes — use the low speed setting. For the final tightening, no. Use a torque wrench. Every wheel on your car has a specified figure and an impact gun cannot hit it.
What does the 12-month warranty actually cover?
Twelve months from the day it arrives, against defects in the tool, the charger or the batteries. If something fails in normal use, email us with your order number and we will repair or replace it. It does not cover consumables or damage from misuse or accident — but a motor, a switch or a battery that stops working is on us.
