The lug wrench that came with your car has never once undone a wheel nut. Not one.

You stand on it. You bounce on it. It flexes, it slips, it rounds off the corner of the nut, and your knuckles go into the tire tread. It is dark, the driveway is cold, and the nut has not moved a millimeter — because somebody put it on with an air gun two years ago and it has been quietly rusting ever since.

So it ends the way it always ends. You put the wheel back, you go inside, and you pay somebody forty dollars to do the one job you own tools for.

The YardEdge Pro™ 900 N·m Cordless Impact Wrench ends it differently. Brushless motor, 1/2-inch drive, 900 N·m (664 ft-lbs) of breakaway torque in one hand. Point it at the nut that beat you, squeeze, and listen to it let go.

What you are actually buying

Torque, not leverage

900 N·m of breakaway force applied in rapid hammer blows. A breaker bar asks a seized nut politely and needs your whole body weight to do it. This does not ask.

Brushless, so it lasts

No carbon brushes to rub themselves away. A brushless motor runs cooler, turns more of the battery into work instead of heat, and has one fewer part waiting to fail.

Sockets in the box

An impact socket set comes with it. No shopping trip between the parcel arriving and the wheel coming off — which matters, because you will want to try it immediately.

A 1/2-inch drive, like everything else

The standard square drive for wheel work. Impact sockets you already own will fit it, and so will the next set you buy from anywhere.

Straight talk: what this tool is not for

900 N·m is breakaway torque — it is not a tightening figure. Wheel nuts have a manufacturer spec and it is a small fraction of that number. Use this to undo, nip them up gently, then finish with a torque wrench. An impact gun will sail straight past spec and stretch your studs, and you will not find out until something goes wrong at speed.

It is also not a drill and not a screwdriver. It has one job. It is heavy, it is loud, and it has no business anywhere near a cabinet hinge or a drywall screw.

Use impact-rated sockets only. Chrome hand sockets can shatter under an impact wrench. We would rather say that here than have you learn it the hard way.

Questions people ask first

This one, or the 1200 N·m?

For cars, vans and trailers, 900 N·m is far more than a wheel nut needs — the limit is almost never the tool. The 1200 N·m model exists for people regularly working on heavier machinery bolts. Compare both listings and pick on the work you actually do, not on the bigger number.

Will it damage my alloy wheels?

Not if you use deep impact sockets, which is what comes in the box — the socket wall clears the alloy rather than rubbing against it. Ease into the trigger rather than pinning it and you will not mark a wheel.

Do I still need a torque wrench?

Yes, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. This takes nuts off and spins them back on. The final tightening is a torque wrench's job, always.

What if it isn't right?

Thirty days, money back, no restocking fee.

Never be beaten by a wheel nut again.

900 N·m of brushless torque, a 1/2-inch drive and an impact socket set, shipping from the United States. Thirty days to change your mind.
