This saw ships from overseas — from China Mainland — and the charger supplied with it has a EU-style two-pin plug. If you are outside the EU you will need a plug adapter before you can charge the batteries, and we would far rather say so here than have you find out with the box open on the kitchen table. Shipping from abroad also means it takes longer to arrive than something sent from a domestic warehouse. Neither kit ships from the United States.
On the tool itself: a reciprocating saw is a rough-cut tool and proud of it. For pruning, demolition, pipework and clearing there is very little that touches it. It is not a finishing tool. If you want a clean square edge on a piece of furniture, use a circular saw or a jigsaw — this one leaves a torn edge and it always will.
It is also not a chainsaw. It will take down a branch, but it is slower through thick green timber, and felling a tree is not what it is for.

Both kits ship from China Mainland, and the charger comes with a EU-style plug. Outside the EU you will need a plug adapter — cheap enough, but order one at the same time so the saw is not sitting in its box waiting.
One battery or two?

Is it hard to control?
